The Beatles Songs – most popular ones – A Day in the Life..Ref 20 This is a new Project which is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and here is the first song in alphabetical order. The songs will be published over a period of time!

A Day in the Life

It’s been a hard day’s night, and I been working like a dog
It’s been a hard day’s night, I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get home to you I’ll find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright

You know I work all day to get you money to buy you things
And it’s worth it just to hear you say you’re going to give me everything
So why on earth should I moan, ’cause when I get you alone
You know I feel ok

When I’m home everything seems to be right
When I’m home feeling you holding me tight, tight

Owww!

So why on earth should I moan, ’cause when I get you alone
You know I feel ok
You know I feel alright
You know I feel alright

Hi Merle, I am really sorry that you are not keen on The Beatles. As a measure and length in which they created so much original material, I am still amazed 50 years on when I hear a song by them being played on the radio and I had never heard it before and I am an avid fan! Also I hear many songs that I had no idea were written by them but performed by other bands, one of them being “Hippy,Hippy Shake!” And there are many more. My final word – they also performed many, many songs by other songwriters, one of the classic ones being “Roll Over Beethoven” by Chuck Berry. The Beatles performed it much better! That’s enough for today! Cheers John
