The Beatles – Comments which Brought out the “Red Rag to a Bull” to me!!…

Red Bull oh know In this case – just no Red Rag or a Bull! so I came up with this cartoon!

A young person wrote in social media ” Popped into my head ….don’t know why, not a big Beatles fan.” Then played a video… “I want to Hold your Hand!” by The Beatles.

Another one said “I wasn’t a huge fan of theirs either. I like a couple of them okay but don’t go out of my way to listen to them!”

I could not resist making a comment. If you did not grow up being a fan of the Beatles in the sixties I can understand your comments. But help is at hand to make you a life long fan “Yeah, I just haven’t met you yet ” Watch this space.

When it was announce that The Beatles were issuing another record in the middle sixties there were over 6 million copies pre-ordered and the fans had not even heard that record! That’s right – “Baby you’ve got it!” – It was: “I want to hold your hand”!!!

Over the next few months I will play you some songs from The Beatles and I hope that those of you who are not keen on them may see them in a different light!

Please let me have your comments on your likes and dislikes of songs by The Beatles in the reply box below.
