My 30 Day Simple Network Marketing Guide…. Day 1

My 30 Day Simple Network Marketing Guide …Day 1

Okay this is the 10th January 2013 and I am 10 days late in wishing you all a Happy New Year!

Now , I am NOT the #1 Expert in the world on Network Marketing but when the clock struck 12.00am on 1st January 2013 I realised that in just 12 short months from1st January 2012 I had come a long way on my journey in the world of Internet Business from knowing nothing much about it to being amazed what I know now!

Modesty is one of my qualities! Ah, and it struck me that before I go any further I should tell you something about my life and business career to date.

My name is John Barton, married to Janet with two children who have now flown the nest. Our son, his wife and our first grandson live in Japan and our daughter lives locally. My sister lives just across the river. Since we moved here to Westward Ho! Bideford, North Devon over 4 years ago from South London we feel as though we are permanently on holiday!

My working life began in the sixties in a London bank but when we got married.. I was ambitious and felt I had to find something that suited my administrative skills but also my passion to succeed in whatever I was doing!

I firmly believe in fate but fate sometimes needs a little help! All at once several opportunities came my way – I believe in the Law of Attraction! I wanted to be a company secretary, but in fact I chose to be an assistant to a Trade Association Secretary because of its great potential and for the next 35 years I had a ball!

I am now of retiring age but continue to work from home because I still have many ambitions to fulfill – so much more to offer!

In 1994 we were introduced to what was to us a completely new way of working and earning money (ie a networking business) that we could do alongside our existing business. Working smarter not harder!   That was the theory but I never took it seriously enough at that time. I treated it as a “hobby” and of course I got paid hobby money! I searched around the Internet and tried many different ideas but realised as I was getting closer to retirement that none of these were really working for us.

Our hidden potential!

But after so many years involved in network marketing part-time I found that I had a passion for it and thoroughly enjoyed it although earning only “hobby money.” But for that I would have quit some time ago.

Now so many more people are looking for home-based businesses on the internet these days especially in these uncertain times of job losses, businesses closing down and people realising that their quality of life, especially with the family, is being challenged all the time.

I firmly believe in being around successful people and learning from their experience such Chris and Susan Beesley and others…this is all that is required and to apply what I’ve learned. I am gaining confidence and encouragement all the time; something that is almost unheard of in the usual business model of trading time for money.

I will never really retire from my home-based businesses because I enjoy it so much and have met some great people who give me the good feel factor and belief in myself that I could work my own business and be successful at it. I started meeting all kinds of successful people through networking and writing blogs such as Gavin Mountford’s Networking Superstars!

It is not like a traditional job when people first start out building a business. First of all, money comes in slower than you think and perhaps you can’t handle that, but once you get started the income begins in flow in faster all by itself. That’s called leverage and it is something traditional business can’t do for their employees.

Now is the time to get on board and learn how to generate income for life in something that you will enjoy and that is special to your needs – not somebody else. I am developing a business which will generate good levels of income and keeps you in touch with the latest strategies that pay over and over again year after year.

In Day 2 of my Guide I will give you an insight to one of the highly successful network marketer who has set me on the road to becoming a key person of influence!

    Hi John

It is interesting talking to people about network marketing who just can’t get it….. Somehow what we say does not penetrate enough to get through….

My wife has been running our business, full time, for just short of11 years. I have been in full time for what must be five or six years…. And we still get asked, when will Jon fetch a proper job?

    Had one, was made redundant….
Had one, and lack of health and safety procedures resulted in my sinuses being burnt out…. And still have problems now…. Not cool being a diver, who can’t dive…..

The first step in anyone’s network marketing career has to start the day they really get it, and realise it is how they want to do business from that point forward.

And I feel you too are there, with that conviction inside of you.

Well Jon, it is virtually closing time here in the office Friday night and I was just looking at a few messages and I saw your one…

You’ve got me there! Seriously, you have given me a great compliment and I really appreciate it.

I can see that your “journey” has not been easy but you’ve persevered with it all and now…!

Like you I am committed to network marketing and of course to all those people who help us out.
Like today I continue to receive great support and we all help each other – that is the essence of network
      marketing.

Like you said I feel that conviction inside me too. “Whatever it takes!”
My wife too wonders about the future… we know where we are going!

Once again many thanks for your meaningful comments.

      Have a great weekend.

      Regards John
